FOR LUCIUS!!

Lucius Malfoy
"I lived my dream today. I lived it yesterday. And I'll be living yours tomorrow."</center>
Check out this perfect specimen of all that is man! Ice blond hair? Check. Cold gray eyes? You know it! This six foot flaxan-haired god is the model of class and sophistication. You will never see a hair Lucius's head out of place or a smudge on his designer duds. He is poised and precise and you will hardly see him without his trademark smirk etched in his chisled features.

Lucius dresses to impress, and he cuts quite an impressive figure. Designer labels from head to toe and picked to match with exquisite care.  He makes the Slytherin silver and green work for him and ladies are known to swoon when he walks into a classroom wearing his Hogwarts uniform.  Some might see his fastidious attention to his appearance as him being self centered and/ or a bit of a prat, but they are wrong, as they are obviously jealous of his supreme superiority...as they should be.

Lucius is a determined realist. He loves to bear responsibility and be in charge and be damned if he doesn't look good doing it. Should he deign to grace you with his presence, you best be on time, because punctuality, order, and efficiency are qualities that Lucius deems of the utmost importance. Lucius is especially pleased when a well thought out plan comes together. On the flip side, Lucius is probably most ill at ease when someone throws a wrench in the mix and a well thought out plan results in unexpected results. He does mot deal well when times call for him to be spontaneous.

Don't like criticism? Then don't come around Lucius under the delusion you are even remotely on the same level.  Though he does know when flattery is most useful, only when the person is of the same station as he and only if they can further him to his own ends.  He will not mince words and will tell you exactly how inferior you are in all aspects of life and you will thank him for his insight. You know what happened the day someone dared tell Lucius that he hurt their feelings? Not a single fuck was given that day.

Lucius loves to lead. He often finds himself surrounded by a posse of followers looking for his guidance, whether on the Quidditch field or as his position as prefect of Slytherin house. Though he would loathe to admit it, to be alone would be quite a punishment for the attention seeking Lucius. Solitude would be torture. While most happy surrounded by likeminded people who recognize his obvious superiority, Lucius would not hesitate to sacrifice their loyalty to accomplish his own personal gain.

To be clear, the ladies love Lucius. And he, in turn, loves ladies, though he does not make a good boyfriend. He will not lie and tell them that their ass does not look fat, but, let's be real here, Lucius would not go out with a fatty in the first place. He is often cruel and misogynistic and holds a potential mate to the highest standards. He might not be faithful, but he knows and rewards loyalty in girlfriends when he sees it. Flowers, jewels, tiny dogs, and more clothes than any woman would know what to do with are what can be expected as presents when you date this wealthy aristocrat. You have to look good if you are going to be this gentleman's arm candy.

Slytherin Libra (September 23 - October 22): This combination of sun sign and House ought to be nicknamed "The Magical Corps of Diplomats." Slytherins born under this sign are poised, polished, suave, well read, well bred, and excrutiatingly polite and correct in everything they do - the perfect gentry of the magical world. Never a bully or a bravo here! No, these Slytherins would say "I despise you and think you are scum" and make it sound like "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways..." They are descreet, sympathetic, easy to talk to, and know how to put people at ease. This can, be a wonderful asset in espionage (he flip side of diplomacy!) and these Slytherins are more than capable of hiding their true feelings in order to get information from a rival. Because they need to act in partnership with others and hate to be alone, they are rarely decision makers, and they must be carefgul in who they seek to befriend, lest they be led astray into the wrong crowd. Slytherin Libras also ought to marry into money if they don't have much of their own, for their love of luxery and culture can make for extremely high maintenance expenses.

Lucius was the only child born to Abraxas Malfoy and Abril Rosier Malfoy. Abril, being a meek and sickly woman, died during childbirth, a fact that Abraxas never let his son forget. Abraxas was rarely home to raise his heir, preferring to spend his time running the family business, Malfoy Apothecaries. This left Lucius under the care of an endless stream of nannies and au pairs. When Abraxas was home he was a cruel and exacting father, molding his son into the perfect image of himself. Abraxas was as pleased when his son showed an aptitude for the dark arts early on, not only in known spells but showing great ambition in creating spells of his own even at a young age.

Lucius was welcomed into the Slytherin house with open arms upon his entrance to Hogwarts. He felt more at home there than he ever did in the drafty halls of Malfoy Manor and detested going home for the holidays, but even at a young age, he knew his responsibilities and how keep up appearances. His ambition quickly caught the eye of Horace Slughorn, wh recognized him as the son of Abraxas Malfoy, and inducted him into The Slug Club.

In his spare time at Hogwarts, Lucius likes to stay caught up by reading The Daily Prophet Business section, as he is set to take over Malfoy Apothecaries when his old man retires.  Sure, there are other occupations he'd rather engage in (he reluctantly thinks to his art, but quickly dismisses it as folly) but to maintain the prestige of the Malfoy name, he must carry on.

Lucius did not see the reasoning for making friends in other houses.  Sure, some were well bred and several were attractive enough for him to consider, but why bother?  Lucius knows his place, both in society and the microcosm of Hogwarts itself, and to delude the riffraff into thinking they could somehow be equals would just be a waste of time.  So, he sticks to his loyal Slytherins, and besides, they need him.  The other houses do not understand Slytherins and Lucius would never be the one to lessen their ignorance.  Besides, the other 3 house's disregard of them only increases Slytherin's advantage when inevitable pranks get played.  And Lucius is not one to ignore an advantage.

Lucius receives high marks in all classes and it wasn't long before his leadership skills were awknowledged by becoming a prefect and a leading member of the Slytherin Quidditch team. He is a stern prefect, exacting punishments that might seem harsh to others, but is necessary to keep order in his little world.    As seeker on the Quidditch pitch, the owns the game, doing his best ot make sure the team flies as one, cohesive unit.  His father usually does not take an interest in his activities in school (only to punish him for unsatisfactory performance, and rightly so) but he does come to at least one match a year, a day that is always frought with tremendous anxiety on Lucius's part.  Lucius tries to keep all the vomiting restricted to the locker room.  All equipment is new and shiny, paid for by Abraxas Malfoy, for everyone on the Quiddittch team.  Lucius even once got a pat on the back when Slytherin's won the Quidditch Cup one year.  It was the single greatest moment of his life.   He has dated, casually, though the relationships never seem to work out. Women do not seem to realize that his criticisms are only to make them better people and usually leave his dormitory crying hysterically.  His eye has been straying lately to the young Narcissa Black, a blonde beauty, not unlike himself.  The two of them standing next to each other would be like to gorgeous bookends...Lucius loves symmetry.  Then again, she does have 2 lovely sisters, as equally stunning and well bred as herself, so really, anyone of them would make a fine addition to his stable.

What does the future hold for Lucius? Wealth, obviously. A hot wife? Most definately. Children? Not if he can help it. Happiness and love? Not likely, but who needs it when people respect and fear you? And, after all, what is more to life than having people fear how much they respect you?

• Lucius says his favorite class is Potions, but it actually is Art. He is particularly adept at portraits and landscapes. He is secretly very proud of this.
• The only praise he ever got from his father is when he accidently killed the family dog (it has been his mother's and his father loathed the beast). Lucius is pretty sure that the dog was the only thing he ever truly loved. 
• Lucius's first display of magic was to toast a cheese sandwich he had been given by a doting nanny. The fire spread from his fingertips and consumed most of the second floor conservatory, including some very pricey tapestries. 
• Lucius says his most prized possesion is a rare black diamond said to be originally owned by Merlin himself. His actual most prized possession is a picture of his mother, Abril, standing alone on a beach, smiling brightly at the camera. There is only one photo left of her in existance, as Abraxas had them all destroyed after her death. 
• Lucius still loves toasted cheese sandwiches.

• I made Lucius's mother's maiden name Rosier due to the fact it was listed as a "related familiy" to the Malfoys. I don't want to GodMod here, so I can change if that doesn't work for people. However, I"d like it if the Malfoys and Rosiers were cousins.
• Though the importance of pureblood was ingrained in him, I think that an accidental and angsty romance with a halfblood or mudblood would explain his absolute hatred of anything less than pureblood later on.
